Day 21
I do not have a favorite book or author. It is what ever grabs my attention at the time. I lean towards historical and mystery rather than romantic novels. I look for books where ever I happen to be... yard sales, Book Stores, Grocery Stores, your box in the garage!
The Story says that my dad immigrated to Canada with a trunk full of books. Mom says it was about 60!
I take a book where I go, waiting at Doctor office, trips far and near, out side to relax on the deck, to the park with a coffee.

Enjoying Life with a book in one hand, in the other, something to Sip!
While some may argue the point, reading is at the center of human society in so many ways. It is easy to get absorbed within a world of characters, high stake situations, magical settings or historical events. Reading gives us endless places to travel, fueling creativity and increasing our knowledge. To engage in literature is to engage oneself, exercising the brain with lasting rewards and conversations. A book is magic for it transports you safely to anywhere in the world of imagination or reality. Paraphrasing one author; “…without stories we would not be human beings at all”.
