View from my back door

Day 10

We are looking out my back door, onto a very snowy deck!
In the snow fall can you see the ghosts of summer past.
The family and friends relaxing in the yard
 with food and beverages
The summer flowers and tomatoes growing in the pots.
Humming birds flying to the feeders, raspberries ready
to be picked.
Solar lites creating summer night magic in the yard.
Warm breezes and mosquitoes, with birds singing in the trees..
 Can you see it?
What do I see??
I see the snow I need to shovel!

View out the back door

I will head out to shovel, with a cup of hot chocolate in hand. And maybe during winter, you will find a snow angel or two in the backyard!

Have a wonderful day, enjoying life one sip (of hot cocoa) at a time!

Thank you for taking a look!
Hugs

  1. Winter’s wonderland. Mother Nature is sometimes synonymous with the word Nature, especially when we are considering the dynamic forces that affect humans. As a Western tradition, the personification of Mother Nature was widely popular in the middle ages. Nature is beautiful, a blessing, fragile important and comforting. In Fact this is why “she” is represented as a woman as she is beautiful, loving, caring and aspiring in so many ways. Each season shall take it’s turn and each has a beauty unique to itself and reliant the other seasons. The ghosts of a Summer/ Spring past hold the warm memories to endure winter’s cold. For the coming Spring, as no Winter lasts forever and no Spring shall be missed, will be beautiful only because there is winter.
