It is also Ground Hog Day!
That is when special furry critters come out form hibernation to see if they can see their shadows or not. Those predictions tell us whether we will have 6 more weeks of winter or an early spring.
Shubenacadie Sam and Lucy Lobster from Nova Scotia predicted 6 more weeks of winter. (they saw their shadows)
Fred La Marmotte from Quebec, Manitoba Merv, Balza Billy from Alberta, predicted an early spring! (did not see their shadows)
Mr. PG from Prince George BC says.... "It just doesn't matter, we will go out and enjoy whatever the weather happens to be"
As I am writing my blog....It was snowing!!

The formal number system was initially developed as civilizations settled and developed agriculture and was used to determine the measures of land and taxation of individuals. Numbers are an integral part of humanity and are used daily in our lives, knowingly or unknowingly. We start life with a number (birthday) and we gauge our routine on numbers (time) in fact every aspect of our life is associated with numbers and they can be considered as important as our alphabet.
