Social Distancing #39
I think its wonderful to see so many birds on our front lawn. Watching these little ones is quiet entertaining. At first there were only a couple, and now there are more, they had shared the secret to other birds. They fly back and forth from the shrubs next to our drive way to the feeder and onto the lawn to pick up the fall out!
I enjoy sitting on our front deck with a coffee while I am watching and listening to my feathered friends.

"A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song."
M. Angelou
Throughout the course of history, disease outbreaks have ravaged humanity, sometimes changing the course of history and, at times, signaling the end of entire civilizations. We take great pride in being rugged individuals and regiment to our routines but now things have changed and so will our “normal” customs. When this pandemic ends and we emerge out from our “physical / social distancing” we will find the environment and economic landscape has changed. The pandemic may be the catalyst to re-evaluate behaviours but rugged individualism has no meaning if we do not take personal responsibility for our actions. Think before your act / react. This is old wisdom, not new.
