Day 236
The last week of August can be a busy time when you were a kid. The last week of camp outs, sleep overs, swimming in the creek, sleeping in, watching day time TV, hanging out with friends, summer jobs, taking that list minute family vacation, back to school clothes and school supply shopping.
My photo challenge had me head up to West Lake Provincial Park located on Nadsilnich Lake (West Lake) is about a 25 minute drive from the house.

When I arrived, I found this sand castle still standing from the last visitor to the beach, not even the resident geese bothered the castle.

Making a Splash ~ Lens Ball |
I didn't make sand castles or dig for buried treasure, at West Lake, as I was enjoying the sunshine and my coffee and playing with my lens ball.
I will see you tomorrow

September 22 marks the first day of fall, which subsequently marks the official ending of summer. Summer is and always will be a season that represents youth, carefree attitudes, beauty, and endless nights, so when it's time to say goodbye to the summer, it can always feel a little depressing (especially thinking ahead to the long, cold winter in a few months’ time). August may be ending but summer continues in the hearts of many (and short pants) as we all need to carry some summer with us into the fall and winter months.
