Day 298
I was outside taking some macro photos of the frost crystals on our deck railings........Squirrel!
He visits frequently.. usually hanging like a monkey in the bird feeders!
He is very quick, running the fence, down the fence across the lawn, finding frozen wild mushrooms, apples and seeds from the bird feeder.
I took the last 2 photographs of the squirrel in the bird feed the day before we had our snowfall. They are a bit hazy because I was shooting the pictures through the living room window!
Until tomorrow!

"I don't have a short attention span, I just... Oh Look! A squirrel!
Squirrels are members of a family that includes small or medium-size rodents. Squirrels are mainly active during the day and do not hibernate, They will typically spend long hours in their nests during the cold winter months. We all know they store their food for the long winters but they also can leap 10 times their body length and turn their ankles 180 degrees to face any direction when climbing. They have superb vision, and they learn by quickly copying other animals. After about a week, depending on how often you visit, the squirrels begin to recognize your presence and will not be as fearful of you.
