Social Distancing #28
Our unique looking clock tower is located downtown Prince George, BC at the Canada Games Plaza. During the winter months the plaza is outfitted with an out door rink for public skating, and transforms to a water fountain in the spring and summer months.
In this location there is the Civic Centre, Two Rivers Art Gallery, the Public Library and one of our swimming pools.
There are many festivities held throughout the year at this location, but, it is quiet at the moment.

I feel that this photo tells it own story about the 'Times' we live in today... Everything is on hold and I feel like things are upside down and not knowing if we will every be the right side up again.

Maybe everything in this little bubble world is safe, sound and protected like I wish I could keep my family and friends.
I hope you are all keeping well!
Until tomorrow

"Time is not measured by clocks but by moments. Create wonderful moments"
Receiving mixed messages from officials and the mistrust placed (healthy skepticism) on them, allowed people to see the “stay at home proxy” as a “unplanned stay-vacation” resulting in ignoring the distancing requirements until the venues were forced to close. And then they complain. The result of this short sightedness is the contamination continued, for some it was life threatening and for the remainder life altering. Maybe the path to a better future is simply to remember the basic lessons of the past. Lessons of one’s childhood; Wash you hands, cover your mouth when you cough/sneeze, stay in bed if you are ill, keep your hands off others. Improved personal hygiene is the first defense against disease spreading and COVID-19 will not be the last. Until we take this seriously things will not change.
