Tree Stump

Day 106

Social Distancing #27

I wanted to share with you a photo I had taken and posted on Jan.27.202 on Day27 and a photo I had taken today almost a month into the 'Spring' Season.

January 27.2020  ~Winter~

April 15.2020  ~ Spring~

The sound was incredible  as the ice was breaking off and splashing into the river!

Today the temperature on my walk was 9c which made me excited cause it is almost shorts and capri wearing weather!!

Thank you for taking a look!

See you tomorrow!

  1. The Winter’s footprints are long since passed as the Spring weather melts away their traces. The early days of Spring are the ugly days as the remnants of winter are exposed for all to see. The white snow now covered in grim left behind from the road maintenance, the trash once hidden under Winter’s white blanket comes to the surface and the fallen branches scattered about after the storms now impede small woodland trails. After months of cold, frozen ground we start to see the rebirth of plants as temperatures continue to climb. This is a time of rejuvenation, a new start and excitement with renewed hope. These are the days when it feels like Summer in the sunshine and Winter in the shade and the sounds of Spring are everywhere.
