Take a moment

Day 239

Take a moment and blow bubbles! Even when you do this action by yourself, you cannot help but giggle/laugh/chuckle.

I found a photo on Pinterest of a bubble sitting so lovely on a daisy! I wanted to try and capture a similar image.

I discovered that wind even a slightest breeze blew my bubbles away! I of course chuckled and tried again. It is a challenge for sure, esp. when you are blowing bubbles and trying to snap a photo at the same time!

I did get a couple, this one I like! It is almost like a lens ball photo!

I was using my macro lens to get up close to the bubble!

Thank you for taking a look at my photo for today!

I will see you again tomorrow!

  1. When soap and water are mixed together and air is blown into the mixture, the soap forms a thin skin or wall and traps the air, creating a bubble. Even saying the word tends to bring a smile to one’s face. Of course this is only a technical definition and truly means very little in the eyes of children dancing about the yard blowing bubbles. The laughter and fun of catching these colourful floating globules is a sight to behold and cherish. Of course I am speaking about all of us “children”. I think we all see the world from our own little “ bubble world” and to hold a rainbow for just a few seconds.
