Day 253
My photo challenge and question of the day is, how do you photograph music? I am wondering how many musical venues are still open to the public during physical distancing?
You can hear music where ever you go, from the shopping malls, grocery stores, the radio in the car, at home and on your cell phone.
If I was in Nanaimo I would try take a photo of my grandson practicing the piano and his sister dancing to the music.

Record Player aka Turn table |
When I was a teen I received my first record player. My first record was The Nutcracker! I saved up all my extra money just for the latest records! That made my folks happy ha ha!
I used my cell phone and took the photo of this turn table for sale at Shoppers Drug Mart!
Music can take you on a trip down memory lane, bring to the surface powerful emotions or it just makes you wanna dance and sing!
I start dancing around the house to the Bee Gees, Strauss takes me to Vienna, the Beach Boys and Bryan Adams remind me what life was like when we were all teenagers.

Music/Songs |
I like all sorts of music, just depending on my mood at the time! I used an app to create this collage.
Until the next time!
Keep singing and dancing!

"With the right music you either forget everything or you remember everything." Author Unknown
Not so long ago, listening to music was done live and in person. With “progress” (the invention of recording) we have moved from records (wax and vinyl) to tape ( 8 track and cassettes) to CDs and to music streaming. Listening to music has changed dramatically. The excitement of getting the latest release of a hit song is gone, now it is a click of an “app” on your device and the song plays in minutes. Not only has the listening changed but so has its production. Music was judged solely on the talent of the artist. With today’s auto tuning technology imperfections in pitch or tone can be instantly corrected. Voices can be made to sound completely different to suit the audience. I still enjoy my records.
