Day 282
During this time of year you can find so many things that are brown. I wanted to find something unique to share with you.
After walking around the yard wearing my rain coat and Roberts Crocs I did find something that I think is beautiful and brown and unique.

Beautiful Brown |
During the summer these flowers have petals similar to a Daisy. The petals are a very soft green colour. I like how they are turning brown. I still think they look very lovely, even though they are soon to be done for the season.

Beautiful Brown & Green |
Looking at the this flower (I have forgotten their name), this flower has a unique formation at the center of the flower!
The texture of the center feels like a bristles on a brush!
Until next time:

"Life is like a flower. It can die and wilt at any time, but, with a little tender loving care, it will bloom for what seems like forever." Unknown
Having a beautiful garden every month of the year can be quite a challenge. Depending on where you live, your growing conditions can make choosing the right plants for year-round appeal a difficult task. Cone flowers, Blue stars, Siberian Iris, Candy tuff are just a few that will provide colour all year long. Unfortunately our gardens will be buried in 4 to 6 feet of snow, growing nothing more that icicles and snow balls. This is the time of year to prepare the gardens for bed and a long winters, making Spring clean up a bit easier. Always trying to get a longer growing season, Ahh but Mother Nature has other ideas.
