Leaves

 Day 278

There are times when the inner child just needs to come out!

When the leaves are falling to the ground, you just need to jump into a leaf pile, lay on your back on the pile of leaves and look up at the sky, walk and listen to the crunch of the leaves under your feet, or just give those leaves a good toss in the air!

Falling Leaves

Having fun with the leaves

You can have fun with this technique! Set your camera on the self timer, lay it on the ground lens pointed up and hit the shutter button then let you inner child out!

Until tomorrow, have fun!

"Autumn music is the sound of rain and the rustling of falling leaves."

  1. I looked out of my front window and all I could see was rain. Not the wet kind, mind you, but a rather dry colorful blend type! Yellow, orange, rust, wine, red…those beautiful colors are brought about by sunny, warm autumn weather accompanied by the cool of fall nights. The more red in the leaf, the more sugar that leaf is storing. That is why Maple trees are so vibrant. A strong adult tree could hold approximately 200,000 leaves. And you will burn up to 500 calories an hour raking them up. There's a popular belief that "as many falling leaves as can be caught in the hand in autumn, so many happy months will follow." For me, it is cobbler season, harvest and harvest treats next to a cozy fire.
