Day 283
We are celebrating Thanks Giving tomorrow. We are having 8 people over for dinner. I think it is a lot of fun to plan the dinner, the dessert and do the meal prep with family or with a good friend.
Today we baked our Rhubarb, Cherry Cello with Strawberry pie, and also a couple of pumpkin pies for our dinner tomorrow.

We shared the job of baking pies equally, Betty made the pumpkin pies and I took photos of her working away!
We always start our baking/cooking projects with a little something in our coffee!
And here is our finished pies.... cooling, and ready to be served after dinner with whip cream or with ice cream!

"Happiness is cooking/baking with a friend."
The day started after the torrential rains of previous days with clear skies and a warming sun. Its warm rays started to dry out everything it touched creating plumes of steam in the early morning’s light. A feast is a huge, delicious meal that's served at a party or celebration. One where you share with family and friends. October’s Thanksgiving was one of those feasts. The food was plentiful and tasty as was the conversations around the table and after dinner. It is a chance to catchup while celebrating the harvests of the fall. Compliments to the cooks for truly it was a grand evening
