Low Perspective Photography ~ Fall

 Day 281

Today I decided to use the Maple leaves surrounding the tree at Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park as the subject for my photo of the day.

I do love the Maple Leaf, it is one of my favorite trees,  before the leaf became the symbol on our Canadian Flag.

Low Perspective ~ Fall

Taking a Low Perspective Photo, means sometimes you get wet knees!

The leaves are quickly falling off the trees, which means soon the trees will be bare and the ground will have a brown leaf covering.

I will see you again tomorrow!

  1. Canada's Indigenous peoples had discovered the food properties of maple tree, gathering the it’s sap every spring. According to many historians, the maple leaf began to serve as a Canadian symbol as early as 1700. The modern day flag, bearing the hall mark maple leaf, was first recognized by government as a national symbol in February 15th 1965. In English-speaking countries, this tree is believed to repel demons and evil spirits. The Maple tree was consecrated to Dana, the Celtic goddess of fertility. It is also known as the tree of the tolerance, unity and peace. It is surely one of the prettiest trees each season of the year
