Day 351
I left home this morning when it was snowing big huge lovely flakes! I wanted to take a Christmas Card Photograph!
When I arrived at Paddle wheel Park, the temperature warmed up, the snow stopped and the beautiful snow covered trees were no more.

This photo was taken at Paddle-wheel Park. The ice is covering most of the rocks long the Fraser River, which looked very grey, bleak and dull winter.
I will see you all tomorrow!
Until then,
Jewels
On the 8th Day before Christmas, my true love gave to me... Cookies/Biscuits to dunk and eat while enjoying a cup of coffee.. there are enough Cookies/Biscuits to share! JBP
The first commercially-produced greeting card was a Christmas card invented in 1843 by British businessman Henry Cole who asked a printer to produce a printed Christmas greeting he could quickly send to friends. They sold for 1 shilling each ( about 8 cents in today’s market). The rest they say is history as the idea quickly became popular. Although we live in a world run by digital communication, a card sent through postal service can mean a lot to both the sender and the recipient. They can even mean more than an email / ecard. Thank you cards are probably the biggest reason why we send out cards. It is nice to be on the receiving end of thank you notes, reciprocating that warm feeling for both parties.
