Soft

Day 62

Photography is often about the pursuit of sharpness. Not every picture has to be pin sharp. A soft image refers to an image that is not sharp and crisp.

Soft focus is a deliberate slight blurring or lack of definition in a photograph, and can be associated with 'Romantic' shots/portraits. Creating a soft focus photo can be a dreamy way of looking nature, such as plants, flowers.

  1. Ever wonder why an emoji is yellow or the common post-it note? In the nature’s world, yellow is the colour of sunflowers, daffodils, lemons, canaries and often represents sunshine and Spring. Yellow also represents the Fall and the changing of seasons in preparation for winter. It can appear warm and bright yet also lead to visual fatigue. Yellow truly is a conflicted colour, for on one hand is evokes the feelings of positivity, hope, energy, joy, optimism and happiness and on the other hand cowardice, warning and deceit. The two faced nature of Yellow, the light and the dark side of this primary colour.
