Social Distancing #44
Its is another beautiful day to work outside in our yard. The gardens and flower beds are ready for planting. It is such a joy to sit on the patio during our 'coffee/wine' breaks to listen and watch the birds!
Here is a collection of our feathered friends.

" A bird does not sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song."
Bird watching is quite an art and those who participate (a birder or a birdwatcher) have vast amounts of knowledge on the species, the songs and habitats. For the local area I read an article that claims we have 271 different species of birds. Birdwatching, or birding, is a form of wildlife observation in which the observation of birds is a recreational activity or citizen science. It can be done with the naked eye, through binoculars and telescopes, by listening for bird sounds, or by watching public webcams. Creating a garden that attracts birds brings another level of satisfaction to the morning coffee on the deck.
