Bird Watching # 2

Day 123

Social Distancing #44

Its is another beautiful day to work outside in our yard. The gardens and flower beds are ready for planting. It is such a joy to sit on the patio during our 'coffee/wine' breaks to listen and watch the birds!

Here is a collection of our feathered friends.

Rose Finch

Female Golden Finch?

Hairy or Downy Woodpecker

Chickadee collecting nesting material

Time for another glass of wine!

Thank you for taking the time to check out my photographs, that means a lot to me!

See you tomorrow!

  1. Bird watching is quite an art and those who participate (a birder or a birdwatcher) have vast amounts of knowledge on the species, the songs and habitats. For the local area I read an article that claims we have 271 different species of birds. Birdwatching, or birding, is a form of wildlife observation in which the observation of birds is a recreational activity or citizen science. It can be done with the naked eye, through binoculars and telescopes, by listening for bird sounds, or by watching public webcams. Creating a garden that attracts birds brings another level of satisfaction to the morning coffee on the deck.
