Day 126

Social Distancing # 47

Twenty-five years ago today, my children had lost their dad. Twenty-five years has passed and I know that with everything the children have done and accomplished so far in their lives he would be proud of each one!

Today, The Pedde Fleet will shed a tear while they will remember their dad, they will tell stories to their children and then they will drink their dads favorite drink with a toast. (Rum and Coke!)

  1. Sometimes called “sadiversary” or “angelversary” are special days of remembrance. These are days where people choose to remember the memories of someone who has passed. It is often a time of quiet, simple contemplation, or family gatherings in fellowship. How they choose to remember is unique and special to each person as is the one they choose to remember, there is no right or wrong and it may change as the years pass. It is never easy to convey to another of those feelings when you have lost a loved one. It is essential, however, to support those who have as they travel down “memory lane”.
