Sometimes the rain makes you feel like everything is dull and dreary. With the spring rain the leaves on the trees start to open up! The day smells fresh and clean! We welcome the rain!

Although some of the mornings are cold, the last remnants of frost and winter, the days grow warm and the rains come and go. The essentials of the start of the Spring season. With this comes the inevitable clean-up of the gardens and yards and the enjoyment of getting ones hands “dirty” and accomplishing tasks outside. Planting and growing flowers and vegetables is an enjoyed shared responsibility both for the household and the environment. As the first flowers break ground there is an anticipatory excitement. So let the rain sing you a lullaby as there is no bad weather, just different weather, and enjoy the beauty.
