Day 221
Golden hour in photography is the period of daytime shortly after sunrise or before sunset. During that time the daylight is redder, softer than when the sun is high in the sky.
This morning walking around the wet dew grass with coffee cup in one hand and my camera in the other.

Summer Sunday Morning |
This may not be a true golden hour photo, but, I do like the softer morning light in this photo.
This is a view of our yard. What a great way to start the day by sitting in the gazebo having that first cup of coffee on a Sunday morning. Everything is quiet except for the birds, the world seems to be at peace.
Thank you for taking a peek at my photo for today!
Until next time!

"But these are the days we dream about when the sunlight paints us gold"
The definition of a sanctuary is a place of refuge or rest, a place where you can feel at peace. This place is as unique to the individual as the individual is to others. Creating a place of sanctuary for yourself does not mean cutting yourself off from modern life, it simply means allowing yourself time and space to develop an inner calm in the face of a world in crisis. In medieval times a sanctuary was a place for a fugitive on the run to seek safety and be immune from arrest. Extending this concept of sanctuary to our own homes we can set aside a space where we can rejuvenate and be still before re-entering our hectic, noisy world.
