Blury ~ background/foreground

Day 305

Happy November 1st! today, the weather is dull and grey. We took a walk to Wilson Park to see if I could take some photographs using a few ideas on my photo challenge list.

The first photo is a blurry background or bokeh effect. The focus is the dry wild flower and the blurry background adding to the effect of the photograph.

The second photograph I was trying to have more of a blurry foreground with a fairly clear/sharp background.. which tells its own story.

  1. Many great towns and cities are built on the riverside, since fresh water is one of the basic human necessities. Prince George is at the junction of two rivers that flow from the highlands to the Sea. There is something peaceful, despite the cooler weather, about a walk along the river’s edge. The chance of wildlife is always a possibility and the river’s language is gentle and relaxing. If the River could speak ooh the history and adventures it could expound. The verb “burble” seems to capture both the movement of the water and the sound it makes as it moves. Forever talking yet few take the time to listen.
