November Sunshine

Day 312

November sunshine, blue skies, crisp with some frost this morning and currently 0c outside.

I love this bush we have in the garden. During the spring and summer months, the leaves are reddish green and the shrub has a spray of pink flowers.. so delicate.

Dry Astilbe ~ November Sun ~ edit

I was reading a photo edit article about taking a photo of flower/nature and using the Clarity and Tone Curve sliders to create a Matte effect.

I will need to play with this idea more.... maybe in the spring or summer months when the flower beds are blooming!

Until tomorrow

I will see you then!

  1. Symbolically, November seems to be a representation of the final stages of nature’s life, with winter being it’s death. Throughout much of history, November has often been thought of as a somber month because it signaled the start of winter. People would spend the month storing up their harvest and preparing their food and homes in order to survive the winter’s cold. It is the transition month between the “wet season” and the “cold winter”. The weather during November is delightful after the rains have settled, it's neither damp nor dry, the breeze is colder but it is not that harsh.
