Day 309
It was a crisp clear morning and I was thinking about taking a picture of something unique in the yard. I was happy that the sun 'was' out and wanted to capture that feeling!
I had noticed that the moon was visible! I know a lot of local photographers have been taking photos of the moon at night esp. when the moon was full.

I used the 75-300mm lens to see how close and clear I could see and take a photo of the moon.
Then in Light room I cropped the photo of the moon to get a closer look.
Then I decided to edit the same photo but in Black and White.
Then just as I wanted to try and take a few more photographs of the moon in daylight.... the clouds rolled in and the sun and the moon are gone from view.
During this phase of the moon, it is good to be thankful! This is a time of better communication, gratitude and creative flow.
Stay healthy and happy!
Until tomorrow!

"I am such a "Wow"! Look at the moon kind of person!"
The lunar orbit just means that the relative position of the Moon and Sun in the sky changes over the course of approximately 29.5 days to complete its circle. There are many folk tales in many cultures about the sun and the moon. One of my favorites tells a story of a moon, so beautiful that only the stars could fathom and the sun that could not see. The sun would illuminate the day and the moon so luminous only at night. The moon was untouchable and surrounded by a blanket of darkness. Both desperately lonely in the heavens. Until one day as the sun was sliding away the glimpsed each other, a rare sight indeed, and fell in love. And while the sun could shine the moon could glow they would remain a world apart.
