Day 364
There are only a few more days until the end of 2020 and also the end of my 366 photo challenge: 2020 Vision.
I thought I would take a walk at Cottonwood Island Park. The temperature at the river was -8c a little bit of a nip in the air.
The first photo is taken along the river, near a walk way over a pond. I have taken photos of this area before, especially at different times of the year.
Here is a before photo: As is, straight from the camera to the computer.
After photo: Edited in Light Room.

After taking a few photos from this location, I crossed the foot bridge and found a couple of Red Headed Wood Peckers. They were a little spooked by some dogs walking their owners, that the birds kept moving. I had to be fast at taking photographs of the Wood Peckers... there was not much time to adjust camera settings.
Enjoy!
Until tomorrow

"My favorite Winter Activity is going back inside where it is warm, which includes a hot drink or two!" Author Unknown
I believe in angels. One need only to look around and you can see them everywhere. That moment you can capture a something special, or able to duck out of the rain storm just in time, or when you hear the wind whisper to you. I have been fortunate to have received a gift from an angel, a companion, friend, (and so much more) who understands I am not perfect and does not expect me to be. She raises my spirits when life has added weight to my shoulders and she is by my side. Many people walk through our lives but few make lasting impressions and fewer still capture one’s heart. We all have different journeys, paths to travel and I am so grateful that I can travel with you to enjoy each treasured adventure and memory.
