Getting Close up

 Day 350

Last night we received a couple inches of snow! Perfect! I can use my Macro lens and try my hand at taking more photos of snowflakes! No matter how much I read and learn about taking photos of snowflakes, and having that snowflake picture perfect, it does take practice, practice and more practice!

Getting Close up ~ Macro Lens ~ After the Snowfall

I think the fun part for me is when I download my pictures, I crop as small as I can get with out too much distortion! Then I get to see the shape of the different snow flakes!

I think Mother Nature is truly amazing!

Until next time!

Jewels

On the 10th and 9th day of Christmas my true love gave to me... 2 face masks... to hide my smile and 1 tube of toothpaste to keep my smile pearly white?

I will do a self portrait wearing one of these masks soon!! JBP

  1. A snowflake is a single ice crystal that has achieved a sufficient size, and may have joined with others, then falls through to the earth as snow. Each snowflake symbolizes one’s uniqueness / individuality in the world of humans . It also recognizes the fragility and the fleeting moments in life. This is Nature’s way of reminding us that we are one of a kind, all different in our beautiful way. A little more sparkle, a little less stress. When it snows there are a couple of choices to be considered, shovel or make snow angels. Choose to make snow angels.
