Blue is the sky on a sunny winter's day,
with coffee in hand
we go out to play.
When there is snow on the ground,
I like to pretend I'm
walking on the clouds.

A classic jazz song “Blue Skies” is the first thing (well the second thing) that comes to mind. “Blue skies smilin' at me ; Nothin' but blue skies do I see”. Irvin Berlin’s composition was an instant success in 1926 and over the decades many have put there spin on the music and lyrics of this classic. The colour blue symbolizes loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust. In addition there are a number of idioms relating to Blue skies, most contribute a positive note to our living.
