Day 51
The snow is cold, crisp, white and sparkles in the sunlight. The morning sun creates a blue shadow on the snow.
As I walk through the park, I see many footsteps, and not just from us humans. I see many species of birds, rabbits, squirrels and few other tracks I cannot name.

There are many deer tracks that cross my path as I walk along the many trails of the park. I wonder where they are hiding? I try and walk quietly to see if they are around the next bend, my camera ready for that one great photo!
Instead I find very friendly dogs out walking their humans! There is always time to stop to say hello and chat.
With some tracks I do wonder if it is a dog or could it be a coyote or a fox.
There are many fox photos posted on Face Book. Today the local photographers have posted photos of ducks! I have not seen any type of animal today. But I have seen their tracks!
In the shadows, there are tracks.... they tell their own story... The Ending to the story, we can only guess.
Thank you for taking a look at my photo and blog, that means a lot!
See you tomorrow!

Forensically, the human footprint is similar to the fingerprint in that it is unique to the owner and has been used in identification of people. More recently, the word defines the human’s impact on the earth’s ecosystem. The footprint symbolizes what is left behind. Be it human or animal, they indicate territory that has been traveled upon and you are not along on your quest. There is also a somewhat melancholy aspect to footprints, as they reference the past, an absence and a spirit, rather the a corporeal presence. Can you see who has been there before you?
