Day 1
I love Christmas for lots of reasons! One cool and thoughtful reason is the Christmas News letters and The Christmas Photo I receive from family!!
I have been getting a Christmas photo from my 2 brothers for a couple of years, it is now become a tradition that I look forward in receiving from them. Each year THE photo has its own theme, one brother and his partner take a photo around the foothills of the gorgeous Rocky Mountains, and the other brother has a photo taken with his wife around their tropical home in Fiji!

Each photo is placed on display! I also love getting the school photos, the Santa photos of the grand kids.. they are also on display and are such a treasure for this Grandmother!
So, staying with that theme, I have decided that my first photo challenge should be a self portrait.. or as its now been named.. Selfies...
That in on its own is challenging enough, you need, timers, remote controls, location, props, make shift tripod. Oh to have an extra arm!!
I am not comfortable in front of a lens, even a cell phone lens. A goal I am always working on! I love the Selfies my girls take... they look so lovely, natural beautiful, at ease with the lens in their face.. Not this momma!

Self Portrait of Me |
Yes, this is me... I have a soft and giving heart. I love my children and grand kids like crazy! I speak before I think, eg. I use my heart and emotions instead of my head. I love spending time with people who accept me for me. I have faults I admit, and lots of good qualities too, with this photo challenge and blog, I hope that you will get to know me a little bit better.
New Years Resolutions:
