Winter Landscape

Day 27

Mother Nature and Old Man Winter love to play with the weather during the winter season. When you get these two together, you can expect biting wind chill factor temps, white out conditions, deep snow and lots of ice on the rivers.

Last winter, we could walk on the frozen river. The ice was clear as glass, and there were people who were skating on the frozen river.

Not this year!

Photo was taken at Wilson Park, here in  Prince George BC. It was interesting to see the ice being pushed up to the bank of Nechako River

Thank you for taking the time to look at my photo or the day and blog!

  1. There's something magical about wintertime. But as the days start to get a little longer, having passed through winter solstice, the temperature remains cold. It is easy to lose sight of this beauty and tranquility as you cover all exposed skin from the biting cold. Fear not, all you need is a little shift in perspective. The crisp winter air offers the life of a crystal, it is the architect of a snow flake and deliverer of a cold wind’s fire, yet the suns shines warming our hearts, bringing a smile to our chapped lips.
