Spontaneous

Day 26

Sometimes an idea for a photo of the day comes to you when you least expect it. For example, I am making my breakfast, and I look out the kitchen window and I see a frozen spider's web.

I wonder what it would look like if I used my macro lens, or took a photo of it close up. Breakfast was then put aside for a bit, while I went outside and took a few photos of last years forgotten spider web.

Spontaneous--frosted Spider Web

I find it amazing how strong this web really is, the spiders hard work creating its web withstood time, water/rain, wind, snow, shoveling the snow off the deck. Yet, here is this silk web, remnant from last season, frosted to show us the delicate detail that a spider had created.

I shall see you tomorrow!

I hope you are Enjoying Life One Sip at a Time!

  1. Feared and often sending chills down the spine at the site of them, arachnids have been on this planet a very long time. These eight eyed, eight legged, air breathing critters have an ingenious design ability. Their webs are designed to attracted their meals and not hung to rely on luck. Intricate, strong, and rapidly-built, spider webs are more amazing even than they first appear. For a construction job done right, get a spider to do it. Take a moment to appreciate the elaborate designs of these sticky bug-traps.
