Winter Frost

Day 14

Good Day! or is it? Its winter, and its cold, very cold. We woke to -36c weather. Out side in the sunlight you can see frost crystals floating. Everything is frosted like sugar. Jack Frost made his appearance and everything is covered with Hoar Frost.

Winter can be frustratingly cold.. when you just can't warm up, when your muscles hurt from shoveling the snow, and everything is frozen including your vehicle!

These 5 photos are all titled
"Winter Frost"

The top 3 photos were taken in the front yard using my 60mm macro lens. The last 2 were taken in the backyard at our Gazebo using my 55-250mm lens then I cropped the photos.

On the positive, Everything that is covered with this frost, sparkles in the sunlight!
Another Plus is.... right now it is not snowing...and in a few months it will be spring!

 Enjoy the photos.

See you tomorrow!

Enjoying Life One Sip at a Time! Today it will be something hot!

  1. It is at a precise moment when life stands still and remains forever captured in time. It is a way of seeing, feeling and expressing, a split second that captures the little details and holds them long after you have forgotten. It is life shared with others, from one perspective, in “one hundredth of a second”. Taking pictures is savouring life and for the photographer, it is the satisfaction of an insatiable curiosity of the world that surrounds them. Mastery of the craft? Perhaps in tomorrow’s picture…
